Rooster in the Sun (by Gerrina)

Hello everyone, today sees the first of three blog posts by our regular Guest Design Team member Gerrina. She has created a delightful CAS card for your inspiration.

Gerrina writes:

Today my first post this month as Guest Designer here at the Chocolate Baroque blog. I always love to use the stamps, but it isn't easy to choose from all of those beautiful ones! This time I went for a steampunk one fitting Spring with the fresh and lovely mornings on which the rooster makes a lot of noise in the morning, but it is quiet the rest of the day.... you can see my card at my blog as well.

I have used the rooster as a stand alone image to make a card/Art Journal Page in a somewhat CAS style and made it a Sunny one by using a round stencil partly for the sun and a straight edge ruler for the sunrays.

Used materials:

Stamp: Steampunk Birds

Stencil

Ink: Versafine Onyx Black

Other: Aquarel paper, some paint pens, straight edge ruler, black aquarelle pencil, a brush and water

See you again next week with the same rooster totally different....

Creatieve groetjes,

Gerrina

  1. The sunshine background is so bright and pretty Gerrina, and the steampunk cockerel in those bright colours looks fabulous in the foreground. A wonderful card. x
