butterflies (by Veronica)

Today I have cards featuring butterflies to show you.

The first uses the main image from honeysuckle butterfly, stamped in grey versafine ink onto white card and coloured using watercolour pencils for the honeysuckle and the artway shimmer paints from the last month's shows for the butterflies. trimmed to a square. mounted onto a square of black card and then onto a white card blank.

The second card uses the briar rose butterfly, stamped in versmark ink onto black card and white embossed. Thie time the whole image was coloured with the artway paints, sprinkled with white brusho powder and spritzed with water.

The white base card black was randomly stamped with just the flowers - the stamp was coloured with distress markers .

  4. Two fantastic cards using the honeysuckle and briar rose butterfly stamps Veronica. I love the simplicity of the first beautifully coloured with watercolour pencils and metallic paints for the butterfly, and the more dramatic look of the second stamped and white embossed which really pops, and again using these paints, on black card, and with a brush marker straight to stamp technique on the background flowers which makes a wonderful background. x
