Hello there,
There are some lovely new Art Nouveau stamps released at Chocolate Baroque! I did have a play with the Nouveau lovebirds and deceide to keep this card simple ( not really CAS) but chique. I have embossed the stylish flower with WOW Vanilla white and just sponged over it with some brown pigment inks. When I finished that I just wiped over it with a soft towel to wipe off the ink residu of the embossed layers.
The text is from the Mackintosh sentiments, a type of font witch matches perfect with this style of stamps.
Hope you like these stamps as much as I do! They are a great match with the the other new sheets and some older sheets which you will recognize in other beautiful samples the designteam has made. Keep an eye on this blog for the coming period because lots of artwork with these beautiful stamps will be shown here made by a talented bunch of ladies!
Thanks for visiting and hope to see you next time!
Please ask when you have questions about my cards, I will be happy to answer......

Lovely card Miranda, a simple colour palette makes for a very elegant card. I love the soft brown and the way your white embossing is echoed with the lovely die cut, placed behind the main mounted image, what a great idea. Another great use of the Macintosh sentiments - they are smashing stamps aren't they? Have a good weekend. Elaine xx
ReplyDeletegreat card, and such a simple idea that works so well!

stunning card miranda. really beautiful. i love it xx
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card Miranda and as you say very chic
ReplyDeleteA lovely flow from the bottom left swirls through the image & blossoming into the flourish of curls pointing to the sentiment - & all of that beautifully balanced by your trio of background images. The soft shading is delightful & I love the contrast provided by the white textured panel backing the flourish & image. A real feast for the eyes which is very classy - the font of the sentiment is echoed perfectly by your use of pearls.

Super mooi, Miranda! Fijn weekend, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteWow! That is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully understated and elegant. The shading is perfect and I love how the topper has such an unfussy shape but just enhanced with those two lovely pearls on the image, and the pretty flourish behind. The simplicity is maintained by using just the one stamp throughout.
ReplyDeleteElegant!
