A Spring Garden by Doreen

Hello to you all, I am sharing a card I have made using the fabulous Patchwork Landscape and Springtime Edges stamp sheets

I created this card by stamping the main image and colouring with water colour pencils.
I then stamped the image onto some copy paper and cut it out to make a mask and using Faded jeans distress ink coloured the sky.
The Snowdrops from the Springtime Edges were stamped  across the bottom of the page and coloured in with  acrylic paints. The entire image was then matted onto some white and black card and finished off with a sentiment and a couple of butterflies.xxx

  1. Another beauty Doreen. Fab coloring and I really like your idea of using the snowdrops from the Springtime Edges at the front. They really are so pretty.

  3. This is a delightful layout with the white of the snowdrops echoed by your focal image mat. It looks very striking against the black & I like the way those butterflies manage to lead the eye to both the sentiment & to the focal image above. The snowdrops provide a lovely foreground setting for the idyllic scene which looks as if it's about to be shattered by an impending storm.
