Just Useful Numbers (by Lesley Ebdon)

Today sees the final visit this month from Lesley Ebdon. She has created another fabulous masculine card using non traditional colours, showing that cards for men do not have to fit a certain set of rules.

Here is what Lesley had to say:

This card was for my Son-in-Law. Apart from the sentiment all the stamps came from sets Make Your Mark and Just Useful. I randomly inked two colours of Distress Oxide Ink onto the number stamp and stamped it top and bottom then added the bubble wrap marks using one of the colours and the splatter using the second colour. I used Morning Mist VersaClair to stamp the cracks (love that image) and random text (there are many gorgeous text stamps throughout the Chocolate Baroque catalogue) then Nocturne VersaClair to stamp the circles round the numbers (his age). I coloured the two numbers with PolyChromos. I found the perfect piece of co-ordinating paper in a pack included in a recent kit purchased from Chocolate Baroque which I added across the topper then added the sentiment piece. I matted it all onto black card and added it to the card base.

Thank you for your visit, stay safe and I'll see you again soon.

  1. This is such an interesting and individual looking card by Lesley and I love the use of these two sets and the highlighted numbers and the coordinating paper across the middle with the sentiment sitting on top drawing it all together. A brilliant masculine card. x
