Leafy Border (by Debbie)

My card today uses the new Floral Edges Clear stamps and a sentiment from Birthday Words unmounted rubber stamps. The card is a white 6x6 square and I started by stamping the leafy border with versamark ink and embossing with gold WOW powder. I used Peeled Paint Distress Ink to colour the card. The sentiment was stamped with black ink and embossed with clear powder then cut out with a die. If the die is left in place, it is possible to ink the inside and leave a white border. This was repeated with a larger die as a layer. The clear borders have endless possibilities for playing with. Keep popping back to see what the Design Team have been doing with them. Debbie

  2. Excellent - it's always a joy to see what you make using sentiments as the focus. The double layering & inking of the die-cuts is particularly striking & I love your combination of gold & green with the focus of the sentiment accentuated by the use of black. A lovely piece of design work.
