Here I want to share with you the card I made using Steampunk Travel stamp and Steampunkery stamp for the sentiment.
1. Put the stamp underneath the acrylic block and think about the colours you want to use
2. Colour the acrylic block with Distress Ink Pad
3. Spritz with water
5. Stamp the image with Versifine black both on the mat and on the card itself, as shown, and glue the sentiment label with Ranger Triangular Collage glue

Loving the colours you have used x And yes its a very fun and quirky card xx
ReplyDeleteInspirational! Clever way to make a background.
ReplyDeleteVery inspiring, a lovely technique and beautiful stamps
ReplyDeleteThank you Magda, it's really a fun and good way of coloring nicely and quickly a stamped image without masking, and taking much time for the details to color in!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, thank you, and Lesley too!! xx
A great idea to use this for someone moving house Magda, and I love the idea of inking the block with the stamp behind to get an idea of how it will look, and the end result is extremely pretty. The balloons look great in black over the background and on the inked piece also, and the perfect sentiment to finish. x
ReplyDeleteWonderful card Magda, love your background colours and a brilliant design, Kate x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, inventive way to do your background! Thanks for sharing that, the end result is lovely.
