Name: Julia Baker
Position Required: Design Team Guest
Living In: The New Forest, near Southampton.
Profile:
I have been crafting all my adult life, starting with sewing, kinitting, and crochet when the girls were young.
I moved onto scrapbooking and photography about 25 years ago and have since progressed onto mixed media art and design projects, as well as stamping and journal making.
Over the years I have created altered books, altered Barbie Dolls, work-top mosaics, shadow boxes, murals, large and small canvases and even a few mannequins - decorated with mixed media and stamps.
I even once used bubble wrap and silver spray paint to decorate the hallway and stairs in our house!
Other than crafting in general I enjoy reading, dance music, gardening and birdwatching in the New Forest and along the coast.
